Administration
A suitably trained clinician uses the official interview and appropriate collateral information to examine symptoms and impairment across development.
Scoring method
Follow the interview’s childhood and adult criteria, examples and impairment judgments. Do not replace this longitudinal assessment with a single symptom-sum box.
Interpretation & limitations
- The interview supports the clinician’s assessment; onset, persistence, settings and alternative explanations matter.
- DIVA-5, Young DIVA-5 and DIVA-5 ID are separate instruments. This reference does not reproduce the protected interview or generate a diagnosis.
